PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve for suppressing a deviation in the fuel concentration of sprayed fuel which is changed with time. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve 1 comprises a valve body 13 having a valve seat 13a, a first nozzle hole 25a located on the center axis side of the valve seat 13a, and a second nozzle hole 25b located further on the center axis side of the first nozzle hole 25a, and a valve element 20 movably stored in the valve body 13 and seated on/off the valve seat 13a for opening/closing the first nozzle hole 25a and the second nozzle hole 25b. With the movement of the valve element 20 along the axial direction of the valve body 13, fuel flowing between the valve element 20 and the inner wall of the valve body 13 is sprayed from the first nozzle hole 25a and the second nozzle hole 25b. The opening area on the outlet side of the first nozzle hole 25a is larger than the opening area on the outlet side of the second nozzle hole 25b, and fuel pressure or fuel velocity on the outlet side of the first nozzle hole 25a is almost equal to that on the outlet side of the second nozzle hole 25b.
