PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater suction/transfer apparatus capable of efficiently jetting compressed water by a compact submerged pump and excellent in costs of compressed water and maintainability. SOLUTION: The underwater suction/transfer apparatus is provided with a suction main pipe 2; a plurality of compressed water jet nozzles 27A and 27A connected to a compressed water supply source and arranged in the periphery of an opening part 3; and an air pipe 11 connected to the compressed water supply source and having an air jet opening 12A inserted in the suction main pipe 2. When a prescribed flow of air A is jetted into water in the suction main pipe 2 from the air jet opening 12A of the air pipe 11, a mixture of water and air in the suction main pipe 2 is pressed upward. Since compressed water is jetted by the submerged pump 21 mounted to the suction main pipe 2, it is possible to shorten a conduit of the compressed water W and reduce cost required for its material and maintenance.
