PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily mountable/demountable protective device for a steel-tower constituting member, which can ensure ventilation characteristics in the steel-tower constituting member. SOLUTION: This protective device 1 for the steel-tower constituting member, which is mounted at an opened end 11 of the pipe-like steel-tower constituting member 10, prevents birds from intruding into the steel-tower constituting member 10 from the end 11. The protective device 1 comprises a main body part 2 which is wound in a coiled shape, and a pair of mounting parts 3 with bent leading ends, which is elongated along a radial direction from both the ends of the main body part 2.
