PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrical components limiting the noise generated, the chassis composition and the composition of electrical components limiting the adhesion of ink mist of electrical components to the minimum without enlarging a recorder. SOLUTION: A carriage motor 18, a conveyance motor 19 and a main control substrate 17 are arranged at one side of the recorder 10 while the main control substrate 17 being arranged with being inclined so that the substrate may approach the carriage motor 18 in following to the substrate going forward in the normal direction against the same direction of the carriage motor mounting surface of the chassis 14. Thereby, the noise generated is limited to the minimum. The adhesion of ink mist of electrical components is limited to the minimum by arranging, across a conveyance section 15 for conveying a recording medium, the carriage motor 18, the conveyance motor 19 and the main control substrate 17 at the opposite side of a maintenance section 16 for keeping a recording head 12 in the optimal state.
