[Class 125 (iii)] Caps for bottles and like containers are formed of sheet material and, while not provided with a peripheral channel, have a sealing ring 4 formed from a composition of the flow in type. The caps have various forms of attachment to the bottles, and that shown in Fig. 1 has a number of tongues 7 which can be removed to facilitate its removal. The securing means may take the form of lugs, screw threads or an engaging peripheral band. Specifications 492,304, 498,615, 519,994 are referred to. |
