The invention relates to a pointing device on a screen, characterised in that it comprises a finger-type object, a photographic-type appliance that can transmit an image of the object, a screen which is approximately the size of a finger and can display a pointer, and means for transforming a variation of the image of the object into a modification of the display of the pointer.
