A receiving terminal apparatus is provided to enable a control unit to change a receiving signal which an input unit has inputted to a demodulation unit when the number of errors which are detected by an error detecting unit has exceeded a critical value, thereby reducing a discontinuous factor which makes trouble in digital transmission by decreasing the number of switching of receiving signal antennas which are inputted to the demodulation unit. An input unit(11A,11B) selectively inputs the different kinds of receiving signals of which a receiving state is different from each other. A demodulation unit performs a demodulation process to a receiving signal inputted by the input unit(11A,11B). An error detecting unit detects an error of stream data demodulated from the receiving signal by the demodulation unit. A control unit determines whether the number of errors which are detected by the error detecting unit exceeds a critical value and controls the input unit(11A,11B) according to a determination result. When the number of errors has exceeded the critical value, the control unit changes a receiving signal which the input unit(11A,11B) has inputted to the demodulation unit. |
