Gateway between a push-to-talk network and a second telecommunication network like the Internet

The gateway has units (20) for creating instances for a push-to-talk client (CL1) that communicates with a push-to-talk client (CL2), via an IP multimedia system (IMS) network. Control units (10) create an instance for an IP client (CL1IP) to communicate with a service provider (FS1) on an Internet network. The units (10) establish a communication channel (S) between the instances of the clients (CL1, CL1IP) to establish and maintain a logical session between the client (CL2) and the provider. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for connecting a push-to-talk client over a telecommunication network with a service provider over another telecommunication network; (2) a computer-readable program-storage medium.
