A paper with a reduced content of a fluorescent whitening agent and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to separate a remaining content of a fluorescent whitening agent from a paper and remove the remaining content by green technology using enzymes. In a method for manufacturing a paper with a reduced content of a fluorescent whitening agent, an endosperm layer is separated from raw material pulp in a pulper and/or a beater while carrying out hydrolysis for an endosperm layer containing a fluorescent whitening agent by adding enzymes such as amylase, cellulase, xylanase, and mixture thereof to the raw material pump, wherein the raw material pulp is treated with the endosperm layer. Impurities are removed from the beaten raw material pulp through a cleaner and/or a screen, so that perfect pulp stuff is screened from the raw material pulp. The pulp stuff is compressed, dried and wound on a winder. |
