METHOD FOR PREVENTING LESIONS AND DEFORMATIONS OF LEFT CORONARY ARTERY AT ROSS' PROCEDURE

FIELD: medicine, cardiosurgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with preventing lesions and deformations of left coronary artery at Ross' procedure in children. Thus, during operation before implanting a valve-containing conduit into the trunk of left coronary artery one should introduce a coronary balloon catheter to direct it into anterior descending artery and connect it with manometric sensor of high accuracy of measurement with the help of the line for measuring the pressure. It is necessary to fill in the balloon with methylene blue solution up to pressure ranged 10-15 mm mercury column, then if pressure values inside the balloon are increased to be above 5 mm mercury column against initial ones in the course of applying fixing sutures upon anastomosis between right ventricle and valve-containing conduit, this fact illustrates the deformation of anterior descending artery. The leakage of methylene blue along pressure decrease inside the balloon illustrates the lesion of anterior descending artery that in both cases requires reapplication of previously fulfilled surgical suture. The innovation enables to decrease the risk of acute coronary myocardial failure in left ventricle and improve the results of surgical interference for a patient and prevent the onset of suturing deformations in case of conduit's implantation. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of prophylaxis. ^ 1 ex
