A shared resource management server for networked terminals, a method thereof, and a network thereof are provided to decrease the load of a network by receiving a request for the use of sharing information of the second terminal, reading information about the IP address and sharing information of the second terminal from a storage unit, and then transmitting the read information. A network consists of the first through Nth networked terminals, the first management server(100), and the second management server(130). The first management server(100) comprises a storage part(110) and an information extraction part(120). The storage part(110) stores information about the names of the first through Nth terminals, the IP addresses corresponding to the names, and shared resources that the first through Nth terminals have respectively. The information extraction part(120) reads information from the storage part(110) and transmits it to the first through Nth terminals. If a request to use the shared resources of the second terminal among the networked terminals is received from the first terminal, the information extraction part(120) extracts information about the IP address and shared resources of the second terminal from the storage part(110) and transmits it to the first terminal.
