Method of and apparatus for the automated testing of an actuator

The method involves loading an input with an input parameter, and changing the input parameter. An actuator is rated as inaccurate if an output parameter changes during transition from a value of the input parameter to another value of the input parameter about a value that is smaller than a minimum value (X). The output parameter is measured with a delay time opposite to the change of the input parameter. An independent claim is also included for a device for testing an actuator.
