FIELD: apparatuses for processing waste materials, namely medical refuse for simplifying their liquidation. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing having opening for receiving refuse into it in order to process them; processing container arranged inside said housing and having open top part for loading refuse and for discharging them. Container is provided with processing unit. Rotary processing container may be placed in position for loading refuse into it when its open top part is matched with receiving opening of housing and in position for processing refuse loaded into it. Refuse processing unit is in the form of disintegrating device mounted in lower portion of container. Apparatus is provided with after-pressing head that may be matched with open top part of container and has reciprocation motion drive adjusted in such a way that to prevent contact of after-pressing head and disintegrating device. Water and disinfecting agent are fed by means of pipelines through openings of after-pressing head to respective sprayers mounted in head performing reciprocation motion in container. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of processing medical refuse. ^ 14 cl, 5 dwg
