<p>The combined harvester (1) is equipped with at least one receptacle (11) located at the rear of the cutting unit (15) to be used for catching lost grains and determining their amount. Before the receptacle (11) is placed on the ground the cutting device (15) is lowered to the minimal height and an appropriate area (17) is cleared. The cutting unit (15) is lifted again, the receptacle (17) released and positioned on the ground (17). The harvester (1) is driven across the spot (17) with the receptacle (11) and in a last step the amount of lost grains is counted.</p> |
