A character recognition system for digital education is provided to improve education efficiency by prompting children to input a correct answer using a toy block set composed of 3D blocks. A character recognition system for digital education includes a key matrix(202), a button input unit(210), a controller(220), an interface(230), and an LED(Light Emitting Diode) display(240). The key matrix has a lattice structure having plural hall ICs, which correspond to functional keys or bottom magnets of a toy block set. The hall IC(Integrated Circuit) generates a switching signal, which is recognized by the controller. The controller delivers the switching signal from the key matrix to a personal computer via the interface, when a request from the personal computer is received. A re-read button reads again the value of the functional keys of the toy block set.
