摘要 <p>An increase in cost and an increase in size of a unit that houses adsorbent heat exchangers are prevented, which arise when a plurality of air conditioners that use the adsorbent heat exchangers are installed. An air conditioning system (1) comprises a plurality of utilization units (2, 3), a heat source unit (6), and connection pipes (7, 8) that connect between the units, and treats the latent heat load and the sensible heat load in the room. The utilization unit (2) includes adsorbent heat exchangers (22, 23) provided with an adsorbent on the surface each thereof, and is capable of alternating between an adsorption process in which moisture in the air is adsorbed onto the adsorbent by causing one of the adsorbent heat exchangers (22, 23) to function as an evaporator that evaporates the refrigerant, and a regeneration process in which moisture is desorbed from the adsorbent by causing the other one of the adsorbent heat exchangers (22,23) to function as a condenser that condenses the refrigerant. The utilization unit (3) also includes adsorbent heat exchangers (32, 33) provided with an adsorbent on the surface each thereof, and performs the same adsorption process and the regeneration process, as performed by the utilization unit (2). The heat source unit (6) includes a compression mechanism (11) and an accumulator (62).</p>
