FAST MATCHING OF FINGERPRINT USING MINUTIAE IN CORE POINT AREA

摘要

Fast matching using minutiae of a central point area in fingerprint recognition is provided to improve a matching speed of a fingerprint image by performing primary matching comparing only the relationship of the minutia of the central point area and comparing only the fingerprint image passing primary matching with all minutia of the fingerprint image. The fingerprint image is obtained through a fingerprint input device(S100). Minutiae information and minutiae relationship information of the obtained fingerprint image are extracted(S200). The extracted relationship information is compared with the stored minutiae information(S300). In case that the primary matching is successful, the minutiae information of the obtained fingerprint image is compared with the minutiae information of the stored fingerprint image(S400).
