A knit material collar for preventing an extension, a producing method thereof, and an upper garment with the collar are provided to prevent the extension of the knit material even if a user puts on and takes off and washes the knit material repeatedly. The producing method of a knit material collar for preventing an extension includes the steps of: preparing a cut material of a flat shape(110a) with a knit material; disposing an elastic member on the cut material of a flat shape(110a); preparing a cylinder shaped cut material having an elastic member attached thereto by sewing one end and the other end of the cut material of a flat shape(110a) along with the disposed elastic member; and folding the cylinder shaped cut material in half to let the elastic member inserted into the inside thereof, and aligning both ends of the collars. |
