A method and an apparatus for automatically managing acid concentration on a stainless annealing and pickling line are provided to facilitate monitoring and managing of the acid concentration by automatically controlling the spraying amount of water. An apparatus for automatically managing acid concentration on a stainless annealing and pickling line includes a tracking module(320), an interface module, an automatic dosing module(330), and a control module. The tracking module receives detailed information on a coil from a measuring unit, which measures the detailed information on respective annealed coils. The interface module receives an acid consumption ratio per unit area according to the classification of the coil. The automatic dosing module calculates an acid volume to be inserted into an acid tank, based on the detailed coil information and the acid consumption ratio. The control module inserts acid to the acid tank based on the calculated acid volume. |
