An LCD panel and an electronic device are provided to improve the lightfast characteristic, effectively prevent the burn-in phenomenon, and improve the reliability of the electronic device. An LCD panel(1) comprises a first alignment layer(4) formed on a first substrate(12), a second alignment layer(3) formed on a second substrate(17), and a liquid crystal layer(2) interposed between the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer. The first and second alignment layers are formed by an oblique deposition method. The first and second alignment layers are formed by chemically bonding alcohol to a hydroxyl group, which exists on at least a surface of an inorganic oxide layer having a plurality of micro-pores. The average molecular weight of alcohol of the first alignment layer is different from the average molecular weight of alcohol of the second alignment layer. |
