A display apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to enable a controller to control a user screen generator so that a history screen can be displayed on a display unit by receiving a control signal for changing a display parameter, thereby easily controlling the plural display parameters for determining a display state of an image. A display apparatus comprises the followings: a user screen generator(20) for generating a history screen including at least one display parameter for determining a display state of an image displayed on a display unit(40), and at least one pre-changed history corresponding to the display parameter; and a controller(50) for controlling the user screen generator(20) so that the history screen can be displayed on the display unit(40) by receiving a control signal for changing the display parameter. |
