A system and a method for dropping a liquid crystal, and a method for manufacturing an LCD using the same are provided to stop the dropping of the liquid crystal during application of an external impact and restart the dropping of the liquid crystal after removal of the external impact. A liquid crystal dropping system comprises a liquid crystal dropper, a detector(260), and a controller(200). The liquid crystal dropper is configured to drop a liquid crystal on a substrate. The detector is configured to detect the abnormal state of the liquid crystal. The controller controls the liquid crystal dropper to stop the dropping of the liquid crystal when the abnormal state of the liquid crystal is detected.
