A method for checking fusing of a voice file is provided to reduce time, and human/resources needed for checking a task for fusing a large voice file downloaded from a server to a flash ROM by using the fact that the value of a simple voice file and the value of the flash ROM before fusing are all initialized. It is checked whether the voice file is started with mute(S303). In case that the voice file is not started with mute, fusing is regarded as failure(S312). In the case that the voice file is started with mute, a voice file size is measured until initial data is output. In the case that the measured voice file size is matched with the voice file size stored in a voice file header, fusing is regarded as success(S311).
