An impeller for a sludge pump is provided to maximize the flow efficiency by preventing a change of the shape of a side wall extending portion forming a blade of the impeller. An impeller for a sludge pump includes a body(10), a side wall starting portion(20), a side wall extending portion(30), a side wall end portion(40), and a balance weighting(50). The balance weighting is located on the upper side of the vicinity of an arc portion which is the lower side of the body and is attached to the body, for weight balance of the entire impeller. The upper surface of the balance weighting has a smooth curvature and has a weight.
