An LCD is provided to improve the visibility out of doors, by sensing the illumination of light, and then controlling the number of LEDs(Light Emitting Diodes) to be turned on according to the sensed illumination of light. An LED part(300) includes a plurality of LEDs. A photo-sensor(100) detects the illumination of light. A power supply part(200) controls the number of LEDs to be turned on according to signal of the photo-sensor based on the illumination of light. The power supply part includes a sensor(210) for sensing the signal, a selector(220) for selecting LEDs to be turned on, a booster(230), and a controller(240) for controlling the selector. |
