A sterilizer for bedclothes is provided to eliminate foreign matters from a contact surface of a carpet in generating suction force by easily moving the sterilizer on the bedclothes, to sterilize bacteria efficiently by doubly forming an inner filter and a filter, and to emit ultraviolet rays conveniently by detaching and attaching an ultraviolet radiating unit. A sterilizer(1000) includes an ultraviolet radiating unit having an ultraviolet lamp for radiating ultraviolet rays, a housing(100) having a suction port for sucking air, a discharge port, an air passage for connecting the suction port with the discharge port and an absorption preventive passage(10) extended from the suction port to restrict objects from being contacted to a lower part of the housing, a first filter unit(30) installed in the housing and arranged in the air passage between the suction port and a motor, and a second filter unit installed between the motor and the discharge port to filtrate foreign matters from air through the first filter unit and the motor and to sterilize bacteria and harmful insects by shutting off heat of the motor. A striking unit is protruded downward and installed in the housing to strike the object.
