An RIP(Routine Information Protocol) neighbor alarm management method in a WCDMA network and a system thereof are provided to cope with network situations more rapidly by directly informing an operator of an RIP neighbor path state which can be generated in a WCDMA network. If a network operator selects a neighbor to be managed(S101), a path for the managed neighbor is added to a router(S102). A CPU judges whether one or more paths for the managed neighbor exist(S103), If one or more paths for the managed neighbor exist, the CPU starts to manage the managed neighbor(S104). Afterwards, the CPU judges whether all the paths for the managed neighbor have been deleted(S105). In case that all the paths for the managed neighbor have been deleted, the RIP processing block of the CPU requests the alarm processing block of the CPU to generate an alarm(S106). The alarm processing block turns on the alarm sound and alarm lamp of an alarm panel(S107) and displays an alarm message through an operator terminal(S108).
