Provided is a resin composition for an artificial ice rink which is excellent in stability, abrasion resistance and surface maintenance and is low in water absorption and surface frictional force. The resin composition comprises 97.00-97.80 wt% of a high density hard polyethylene having a crystallinity of 60-80 % and a density of 0.95-0.96; 0.60-0.70 wt% of a mixture(1-1) of 30-45 wt% of calcium stearate, 20-35 wt% of calcium palmitate, 10-20 wt% of magnesium stearate, 15-30 wt% of magnesium palmitate, 5-10 wt% of stearic acid and 5-10 wt% of palmitic acid; 0.40-0.65 wt% of a mixture(2-1) of 17-25 wt% of a 2-alkyl-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole, 15-23 wt% of benzophenone triazine, 10-25 wt% of a phosphonate, 13-25 wt% of resorcinol monobenzoate, 20-35 wt% of bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl)sebacate and 10-25 wt% of 2-(2'-hydroxy-3',5'-di-tert-amylphenyl)benzotriazole; 0.05-0.15 wt% of a mixture(3-1) of 40-55 wt% of butylhydroxytoluene, 30-45 wt% of butylated hydroxyanisole and 15-30 wt% of octadecyl 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamate; 0.05-0.12 wt% of a mixture(4) of 15-30 wt% of glycerol, 20-40 wt% of glyceryl monooleate, 20-25 wt% of glyceryl monostearate, 10-20 wt% of glycerol ester, 5-15 wt% of ethyl monostearate and 10-20 wt% of glyceride; and 1.10-1.20 wt% of zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
