A mobile communication terminal is provided to configure one number key with several keys, so that a user can quickly input a desired character by pressing a corresponding word. A key input unit(18) has plural number keys(22), wherein one number key is divided into plural small keys. A controller determines a character input mode by selection of the number keys(22) and the small-sized keys, and selects a corresponding character according to the determined character input mode. A display(16) displays the selected character. |
