An apparatus and a method for setting reservation record by using a DGI(DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) Gateway Interface) in a broadcasting website service are provided to execute a DGI function by using a broadcasting programming table displayed on a screen of a terminal and reserve the record of a specific program. A communication interface device(100) receives an MOT(Multimedia Object Transform) carousel transmitted from a broadcasting website server. A decoding unit(110) decodes the MOT carousel received from the communication interface device(100), and outputs contents information. A database(120) stores contents information outputted from the decoding unit(110) and a DGI function. When a reservation record command is inputted through the user interface device(100), a DGI function configuring unit(130) configures a DGI function of a broadcasting program which is an object of reservation record by using the DGI function stored in the database(120) and contents information of the broadcasting program. A DGI function executing unit(140) executes the DGI function of the broadcasting program configured in the DGI function configuring unit(130). A record manager unit(150) receives a result value in which the DGI function executing unit(140) executes the DIG function of the broadcasting program, sets an operation for the reservation record, and controls a recording device.
