APPARATUS FOR TRACKING LOCATION WHERE MOBILE DEVICE CAN RECEIVE SIGNAL AND MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION DEVICE COMPRISING SUCH AN APPARATUS

A device for tracking a radio reception available location and a mobile terminal including the same are provided to allow a mobile terminal to start a location tracking operation only when a weak radiowave state continues for a certain set time to thus prevent unnecessary power consumption of the mobile terminal. A sensing unit(20) senses sensitivity of a signal transmitted to a mobile terminal and compares the sense value with a threshold value. A timer(30) checks whether a state that the sense value is smaller than the threshold value continues for a set time. When the state that the sense value is smaller than the threshold value continues for the set time, a location measurement unit(40) measures the first location of the mobile terminal. When the mobile terminal is at the second location of a shadow area, a GPS location measurement unit(60) measures the second location through GPS. A location analyzing unit(70) calculates a direction value and a distance value of the first location with respect to the second location. A display unit(80) displays the calculated direction value and distance value.
