A flowerbed-type median strip having a cable protection function is provided to conveniently supply water to plants in a flowerbed thereof, and repair and replace a cable more conveniently. A flowerbed-type median strip having a cable protection function comprises a main frame(10), a flowerbed(20), a packing rubber(31) and an attaching concrete(30), and a pair of bumper covers(40). The main frame comprises a rainwater storage part(101) which is hollow to reserve rainwater therein, a pair of insertion grooves(102) formed at an upper part, a penetration hole(103) formed between the insertion grooves, and a slant part(104) formed on both upper sides. The flowerbed comprises a pair of protruded steps(201) having a plurality of rainwater guide holes(201a) inducing rainwater to the rainwater storage part, and a vertical part(211) inserted in a bottom of the protruded steps. The packing rubber and the attaching concrete are attached to an opened front of the main frame. A cable assembly(50) is inserted in the bumper covers.
