A method for printing on label side of disc medium and a printing apparatus using the same are provided to save the required processing time for printing. The method for printing on label side of disc medium includes: determining which of central non-image section and peripheral non-image section requires more processing time; printing images on the label side of disc in one direction starting form the most central section facing the peripheral section or the other direction starting from the most peripheral section facing the central section.
