APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLEXIBLE COPPER CLAD LAMINATE FILM

An FCCL film manufacturing apparatus and a method are provided to electro-plate copper plating layers on both surfaces of a polyimide film by using a pair of current delivery rolls and jigs arranged in a plating bath. The FCCL film manufacturing apparatus(100) is composed of an acid cleaning device(1) spraying an acid cleaning solution on both sides of a film(F) to be plated to remove an oxidation film from a copper film and depositing the film; plural water cleaning devices(3a,3b,3c) spraying a water cleaning solution on the film to wash the acid cleaning solution and a copper electrolyte remaining on the film and depositing the film; at least one copper plating device installed between the water cleaning devices to plate a copper plating layer on both sides of the film by supplying the negative current by coming into contact with the transferred film and feeding the positive current to a transfer path of the film dipped in the copper electrolyte; a rust-proofing device(4) spraying a rust-proofing solution on the copper plating layer to prevent the copper plating layer from getting rusty while passing through the plating devices; and a dryer(5) drying the rust-proofing solution applied on the film.
