A cooling/heating cycle of an air conditioner is provided to pass refrigerant in liquid phase through a drier by a check valve and a bypass path for preventing introduction of refrigerant in the mixed state of liquid phase and gas phase into the drier, thereby preventing abrasion of molecular substances of the drier. A cooling/heating cycle of an air conditioner includes a check valve(60) mounted to a path between a drier(50) and an expansion valve(30) for passing refrigerant from the drier to the expansion valve in cooling operation and blocking refrigerant passing from the expansion valve to the drier in heating mode. A bypass path(73) connects a path(71) of the check valve toward the expansion valve to a path(72) of the drier toward an outdoor heat exchanger(20). The bypass path is mounted with an auxiliary expansion valve(80).
