METHOD FOR SIGNALING IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A signaling method in a mobile communication system is provided to enable a UE(User Equipment) to deliver a sequence number for data, which the UE wants to receive, to a new e-node B when the UE desires to receive the same service from the new e-node B by moving to the new e-node, thus a data loss problem can be handled in a short time. A flow suspend message is transmitted(501), and a flow request message is transmitted(502). A UE includes a sequence number of a data unit of MAC(Medium Access Control) or RLC(Radio Link Control) in a message(503). If transceiving control of an SGSN(Serving GPRS Supporting Node) is required during handover, an SNB(S-E-Node B) which receives the flow suspend message notifies the SGSN of interruption of data transceiving(504), and a TNB(T-E-Node B) which receives the flow request message requests the data transceiving to be initiated(505). When the data transceiving is requested, the TNB delivers the sequence number information to the SGSN(506).
