Provided is a method of manufacturing a mattress spring by using a spring and an incising section, thereby improving resilience of the mattress by forming a spring made of a sponge. A mattress(100) has latex foam(20) formed on an inner portion of a cover(10) consisting of an exterior of the mattress and plural springs inserted into an inner portion of the latex foam. The method comprises the steps of: cutting an upper surface and lower surface of a sponge for forming the spring in a rectangular parallelepiped shape; and continuously forming the spring in such a way that an incising section is roundly rolled up at both sides to be in contact with each other and is adhered to both sides of the rolled incising section.
