An LCD is provided to effectively protect inner parts from an external impact and securely support the inner parts, by forming a fixing member, which supports an LCD panel, to have a chamfer portion. An LCD comprises an LCD panel(20) and a fixing member(10). The fixing member includes a front part(12) having a display window(11) for exposing an effective surface of the LCD panel and an edge part(14) extended from at least one side of the front part. The fixing member has at least one chamfer portion(13). The ratio of a width of the chamfer portion to a long side of the LCD panel is about 0.002 to 0.01. The width of the chamfer portion ranges from 2 to 6 millimeters.
