#CMT# #/CMT# The magnetic forces and pairings generated following activation of one or more of the actuator coils (10, 12, 14) during use of the actuator are modelled so that the actuator can be produced in such a way that the forces and pairings associated with the different coils are uncoupled as much as possible. The forces and pairings are modelled in a matrix and actuator production is designed so that the condition number of the matrix is kept to a minimum, preferably by moving the coils, especially so that the windings of one or more of the coils extend parallel to the working surface of the stationary part of the actuator. #CMT# : #/CMT# The actuator comprises a stationary part containing adjacent coils which form a working surface and a movable support located opposite this surface which comprises a group of magnets (3, 7) designed to allow the support to move relative to the stationary part. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# For producing flat actuators, especially planar motors. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# A more fluid movement of the support relative to the stationary part is possible. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The figure shows the modelling technique. 3, 7 : magnets 10, 12, 14 : coils. |
