Provided is a natural mineral composition applied on a filter, which is capable of purifying air, radiating useful substances for human body, including anions and far-infrared rays, and adsorbing harmful substances. The manufacturing method of a functional environment-friendly filter comprises: preparing a natural mineral composition(S10) by blending 65-80wt% of sericite powder with a particle size of 1500-2000 mesh, 5-10wt% of tourmaline with a particle size of 1500-2000 mesh, and 5-10wt% of natural adhesive; crosslaying(S20) a mixture of polyester and viscose rayon to a designated thickness; performing a first impregnation process(S30); performing a first drying process (S40) for the impregnated fiber at room temperature; performing a second impregnation process(S50); performing a second drying process(S60); applying the natural mineral composition on the fiber(S70); drying the fiber coated with the natural mineral composition at 120deg.C(S80); performing a third impregnation process(S100); performing a third drying process(S110); and cutting the filter to a designated size(S120).
