A method for processing a detail log of an authentication system is provided to process the detail log generated from the authentication system using a RADIUS(Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) protocol in real-time, and reduce time needed for parsing and inquiring the detail log by processing the detail log with classification into standardized fields and non-standardized fields. An authentication server classifies the detail log generated for an account of each user logged in through network connection equipment into the first standardized fields and the second non-standardized fields. The authentication server extracts the first field among the fields included in the detail log, stores the first log, extracts the second fields among the fields, and integrally processes the second fields as a single field, and stores the single field to the database. The second fields are analyzed in only the case that detail analysis for the detail log is requested. In the case that an analysis request for the second fields is generated, the authentication server analyzes the second fields after selecting a range for an analysis target by referring to a start/end frame included in the second fields.
