HERB EXTRACT-CONTAINING COMPOSITION FOR SANITARY NAPKIN

Herb extract containing composition for sanitary napkin is provided to principally inhibit oxidation of menstrual fluid and proliferation of microorganisms on the napkin by obtaining the herb extract from dried Lithospermum erythyrorhizon root, Abies koreana leaves, and other specific herbs through extraction using carbon dioxide and ethanol. The composition comprises: 10-20wt.% of Lithospermum erythrorhizon root extract; 10-20wt.% of Abies koreana leaf extract; 10-20wt.% of Aloe barbadensis extract; 10-20wt.% of Camellia sisnensis extract; 10-20wt.% of Mentha arvensis extract; and 10-20wt.% of Angelica gigas extract. All of the extracts are obtained by applying super-critical extraction method after finely cutting all of the herbs in dried condition. Particularly, the extraction method comprises: cutting each of the dried herbs; feeding the cut materials to a sealed container; introducing carbon dioxide and ethanol into the container at 30 to 50deg.C and under 200 to 400 atmospheric pressure to obtain the extract.
