A lock for hinged aluminum doors with latch bolt (2) (Figure 1) of adjustable, depending on the profile series, length in order to achieve the maximum penetration depth into the jamb (frame) is presented. The latch bolt (2) includes a through hole (3) in the direction of its rectilinear motion with a front protruding part (3a) and a back part (3b) of smaller diameter with screw thread and a transversal, vertical to the trough hole (3), rectangular hole (13). Along the length of the through hole (3) a pin (7) with flat head (7a) is inserted, which is pushed permanently by a spring (4) and which has a front part with screw thread (7b) and a notch (7c) for screwing within the part (3b) of the trough hole (3) for increasing or reducing the protruding length of the latch bolt with a screwdriver that is inserted via the front part (3a) of the through hole (3). In the rectangular hole (13) a plastic spacer (14) is inserted for stabilizing the pin (7) that has a central hole (14b) that coincides with the part (3b) of the hole (3). 1 |
