A solid or semi-solid cleansing material which has excellent aesthetic appearance and is satisfactory in detergency, suitability for use, and use feeling. It further has a massage effect when applied with rubbing to thereby enhance blood circulation and make the skin condition satisfactory. The oily cleansing material is characterized by comprising (A) a specific polyamide-modified silicone, (B) a surfactant having an amide group and/or a surfactant having no amide group and having an organic value of 2,000 or lower and an inorganic value of 1,500 or lower, and (C) an ester oil, and by being semi-solid or solid.
