Provided is a sterilizing system for food including bulb plants or fruits, which shows a maximized sterilizing effect by using chemicals and ultraviolet rays, and prevents any chemicals from remaining on surfaces of bulb plants or fruits. The sterilizing system for food comprises: an air droplet washing unit including a first water bath(10), a first belt conveyor and a second belt conveyor; a chemical sterilizing unit having a nozzle for spraying a sterilizing agent(42) onto the food washed in the air droplet washing unit; an ultrasonic wave washing unit(40) including a second water bath, an ultrasonic wave generator, a third belt conveyor and a fourth belt conveyor; a drying unit(90) having a fan for supplying dried air to the food washed in the ultrasonic wave washing unit; and a cleaning unit including a compressor(52) and a filter(51).
