The method involves controlling the activation of a brake (8) of a vehicle (2) using a central logic controller (10) when the variation of an operational parameter of the vehicle tends to increase the longitudinal acceleration of a body shell or to reduce the longitudinal deceleration of the body shell independent to a preset request of a driver of the vehicle.
