The proposed method of supervisory control for conveyance of passengers and goods by taxis consists in determining the coordinates of the taxis, transmitting the data on the coordinates to the central computing system, receiving orders from expected passengers with the information for the service time and the addresses of the start point and the end point of the route, entering the data of the orders into the central computing system, and processing the data in the central computing system in order to determine the taxis that correspond to the orders. When receiving and executing the orders, the taxi drivers communicate with the central computing system. The serviced territory is separated into areas so that each area is assigned the number associated with the corresponding telephone number. The data for the taxi coordinates are transmitted to the central computing system by the mobile communication system. When receiving and executing the order, each driver transmits the standard message associated with the telephone number of the driver to the central computing system.
