A peptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1; a peptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2; or a mutant peptide comprising an amino acid sequence derived from an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or 2 by addition, deletion or substitution of one or more amino acids and being capable of forming a complex with an HLA-A2402 molecule that can be recognized by HLA-A2402-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocytes or being capable of inducing the same. Such a peptide is useful as a cancer vaccine for epithelial cancer patients having HLA- A2402.
