A method for separation of oil products from oil-water mixtures includes creation of rotary motion of the mixture, providing of conditions for coalescence of oil products due to the contact on a hard surface, removal of separated factions. Amount of ions in a dispersion layer between the surfaces of contact of the nozzle and oil particles is increased through the increase of concentration of electrolyte. A device for separation of oil products from oil-water mixtures has a vertical housing, a pipe for supply of oil-water mixtures located in lower part of the housing, pipe for removal of oil products equipped with a conical capture device, partition set under the pipe for supply of water-oil mixture with a hollow nozzle, which separates the cavity of mechanical impurities from basic cavity, at which the external surface of nozzle is conical with a screw stairs. The lower step of the screw stairs is placed opposite the pipe of supply of water-oil mixture. The hollow nozzle is modified by cation polyelectrolyte.
