Counterblow vertical hammer contains upper ram with lateral stocks and plungers, lower ram with central stock and plunger, hydraulic tank with lateral and central plungers located in it and actuating cylinder installed coaxially to the central stock. Stock of actuating cylinder and central plunger, which interacts with the central stock, is executed as one whole in the form of stepped shaft in such a manner that the diameter of central plunger is greater than the diameter of the stock of actuating cylinder, moreover, the ratio of circular area of central and total area of lateral plungers is equal to the ratio of the masses of lower and upper rams.
